Florida Center for Reading Research

If you have never been to the Florida Center for Reading Research page, it's time! You may want to just browse http://www.fcrr.org/.  There is so much great information!

But, the real fun comes when you click on Teaching and Learning and Response to Intervention (RtI).  To the left, click on Instructional Materials for Teachers.  There are tons of FREE student learning centers to download and print! They cover phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension and are broken down into centers for K-1, 2-3, and 4-5.

I downloaded the centers, laminated the pieces, and put them in large envelopes.  I have the envelopes in a milk crate.  Some centers may need something extra...like a stopwatch for fluency, but most already include everything you need!

You will need to cut out a lot of pieces, so this would make a great summer project!

Click here to go right to the Student Center Activities.

Enjoy!!
