Someone You Should Meet

I'd like to introduce you to someone you should meet, Laura Candler.  I could spend weeks posting great ideas I learned from her, but instead - I'll just point in her direction.  Laura is a teacher/author in NC.  Her mission is like this blog - to make teachers' lives easier!  She has things very well organized, and easy to browse.  In case you think she is only out to sell her books, I can personally attest she has many many ideas, advice, and printables for FREE.

You can connect or follow Candler in any way you wish:  She has a blog...a website...an e-newsletter; she is on Pinterest, TeachersPayTeachers; and she offers free webinars!

I'd say those who would find her most useful are teachers of grades 3-6, teachers of older students with special needs, or those who teach younger students in need of a challenge.

If Laura is a new resource for you, I recommend starting here www.LauraCandler.com/firsttime.php.  If you and Laura have crossed paths before, head for the file cabinet www.LauraCandler.com/filecabinet/index.php, or go to her website and find a webinar to view at your leisure.

Sometimes, with all the resources at our fingertips, it's easy to get carried away and overwhelmed.  Isn't it a nice reminder there are some SIMPLE resources to help us?  I'd also like to offer a shout out to another guru of the basic truths - Harry Wong!
