Our Purpose

Our goal is to provide a spot for tested, successful, and meaningful activities for practical teachers to utilize. Look for these regular features in addition to weekly blog posts: Tech. Tip Tuesday, Wordless Wednesday (quote or picture with no additional narrative), Doodad Day (reviews of items we use in the classroom).

Most of us become teachers because we want to help; we want to make a difference; we want to share.  It is all true for me too! This blog allows me to reach beyond my classroom and campus - to perhaps make a difference and sincerely SHARE!
 
ABOUT ME
 
I am a loving wife to a man that supports my service as I support his.  Both of our careers require unique sacrifice, and are truly rewarding.  In our spare time we enjoy our beloved dogs, watching movies, and camping.  I'm also fond of office supplies, HGTV, and my iPad.  I'm deeply loyal to family, friends, and my profession.

I am a elementary educator, having taught for 17 years in grades 2-5.  I have a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, and a passion for life-long learning.  I believe in preparing children for tomorrow's world, while caring about who they are today.  I have a contented soul, but eagerly foster professional growth.
 
I don't really beg (unless it's necessary), but I do borrow and steal teaching ideas... a lot.  I'm grateful to all the generous teachers out there willing to share their great ideas!  Hope you enjoy our blog - Now, go SHARE!
